I never entertained the idea of setting up a blog until I found out that I would be embarking on an adventure to the United Arab Emirates.  My six year old (Drew) tied for first place in the K-1 division of Supernationals 2013, qualifying him to represent the US at the World Youth Chess Championships along with other top US scholastic chess players.

I will be posting here about our journey.
